At Moulsham Junior School it is our INTENT to influence pupils to become curious, tolerant and respectful of other cultures through the teaching of MFL. Pupils will develop confidence in their language skills as well as learning about the cultures that speak each target language they are exposed to. They will learn a variety of European languages including: French, German, Spanish and Greek. French is our key language at Moulsham and children will progress their knowledge and skills in this language as they travel up the school. The IMPACT of this broad and balanced language curriculum will be that pupils will have: clear progress, sustained learning and an appreciation of different languages and cultures. We intend to IMPLEMENT this through an exciting, fun and challenging curriculum that encourages children to value other cultures and develop a rounded knowledge of different languages and cultures present across the globe! Children will be encouraged to explore and deepen their own learning.
