ABOUT
On behalf of the staff, pupils and governors of Moulsham Junior School I’d like to welcome you to our website. Our school caters for over 650 pupils from Year 3 to Year 6.
Everything that we do at Moulsham Junior School is based around our core values; which are traditionally known as the four S’s namely: Sharing, Supporting, Striving and Succeeding.
We believe that if we share our time, compassion and smile with all we meet our school will be a patient, kind and happy place to be. By offering support to each other emotionally, socially and with our learning we will develop understanding and tolerance of the diversity within our world. If we strive to challenge our academic capacity we will be lifelong learners with a growth mind set open to ambition. It is these three values that enable success be that emotional, spiritual, cognitive, physical or social.
We are a fully inclusive school, supporting a wide range of needs. As a result of our inclusive nature the pupils at our school have an excellent awareness of the variety of physical, emotional and educational needs. The children value this and, consequently, develop a considerate, caring and respectful attitude towards each other.
While it is our priority that the education our pupils receive here will enable them to progress confidently into the next phase of their education, it is also part of our vision that all our children are exposed to positive and interesting experiences, that they are aware of the endless possibilities that await them and that they are nurtured in order to develop within them a confidence to embrace whatever comes their way.
We (the entire staff) share this vision and recognise children as unique individuals. We work tirelessly to provide a varied and engaging curriculum and a positive school experience. Our school is always a hive of purposeful activity.
We hope the website gives a true flavour of Moulsham: friendly and hard-working children; passionate, welcoming staff who are fervent about achieving the very best for our pupils and interested governors, alongside caring parents and friends of the community who all make this school a wonderful place to learn.
Of course, a website is no substitute for a visit in person. If you’d like to pay us a visit please feel free to arrange a suitable time with the school office.
We welcome you to our school and trust you will find your time with us an enjoyable and worthwhile experience.
